It’s hard to think I could sum up an entire four months in one post but I’m going to try and do it justice. I just read through some of my old posts and it’s hard not to want to pack up my suitcase and head back to Brussels. Over the past few months being back almost daily a picture, or a friend will post something about Belgium and I fondly remember when I could take a tram to see the beautiful view they’re sharing. This is one thing I am so grateful for. Social media has enabled me to feel even just that much closer to the people, and the cities from my exciting journey last year.

This fall/winter is one for the books. I have been the busiest I have ever been in my life. Most people attribute “busy” to being a bad thing, where I would have to disagree. I think if your days are filled with exciting things than nothing is really too much, although I would like to spend a few more hours a week in my cozy bed.
My new apartment, job, internship are amazing. Many things are ending in December, my internship and the semester will be over and I’m looking forward to what new and exciting things lie ahead. At the rate that things happen for me, who knows…
It’s also very exciting to me that I will have a travel post up in January! I’ll be travelling to Las Vegas in a few weeks and I can’t wait to share some pictures and stories from that trip. I’ve never really been west of Ontario so I’m excited to see some of the west coast!
More to come soon. This blog will hopefully be more oriented towards the theme of discovery, discovery of new places, things etc. Unfortunately I can’t be travelling every weekend this year (as much as I wish I could!).
I’m also accepting ideas for a name change for this blog. Since I no longer am in Belgium it doesn’t really feel right anymore.
