Well well well..
After about the weirdest, and most unsettled month of my life I can finally say that I finally can settle down. Tomorrow I’m moving in with my life long best friend back in Ottawa and can start growing my roots again. I’m excited and at the same time very nervous about this new phase in my life.
This last month I’ve really had the chance to spend quality time with my family back home. By this, I don’t mean the occasional visits, but almost daily “run ins”, trips, long car rides, and relaxing chats while enjoying some of this beautiful weather Canada seems to be getting. I have no words to express how grateful I am to my support system and how they’ve helped me back on my feet and cheered me on through every “new” accomplishments since being back.
Along with this new home, I’ve managed to clinch a position at an embassy this fall for an internship, as well as a new job to keep me busy on top of continuing my last year at school. These next few months will be crazy busy (we’re talking 80+ hour weeks), but the excitement I have just thinking about it, proves to me it will all be worth it and then some.
I just wanted to post a quick little update on here, and hopefully I’ll be writing some new posts in the very near future!
