Praha

It certainly has been a while since I’ve posted on here. I feel like my absence can be attributed to the fact that I can’t come to terms with this being my final week in Brussels. Without further delay – here’s Prague!

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining a couple of friends from NYC in Prague. It was so nice to see some familiar faces and get to explore some of Eastern Europe which I hadn’t been to yet. In retrospect I really had no complains throughout the entire 5 days I was there – besides a mishap involving my toe and a bus door. Needless to say, I will start bringing a travel first aid kit with me. The architecture, the views, the hills, the food, the people, the beer, the laid back atmosphere were just some of the things that aided in my adoration of Prague.

Since this was one of my longer trips this year it was nice to really “enjoy” the city and not be so caught up in seeing all there is to see in a couple of days. We ventured to the zoo (a bit outside of the city center), went on a boat cruise, saw Prague Castle, the John Lennon Peace Wall, the Monastery, Old town Square.. and the list goes on.

Prague wasn’t short on delicious traditional food either. Not to be missed was most notably their goulash – you’ve probably heard about the hype and I can 100% confirm it’s worth it. For only around 5$ for a huge serving, food and drink in Prague was dirt cheap as compared to all of the other European cities I’ve visited this year. Nothing throughout the trip was outrageously expensive and we often found ourselves surprised at what a bargain everything was.

I’ve included a photo gallery to go along with this post – Prague is just so beautiful, enjoy the pictures!
